The Neighborhood Theatre Collective is a Silver Lake based artist collaborative that produces and teaches theatre which reflects honest, humorous and heartfelt issues from culturally-varied neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles.

We aspire to keep live theatre relevant by presenting diverse community-based stories that are intimate, socially conscious, visceral and easily accessible.

To maintain the vitality of theatre, T.N.T.C. partners with like-minded organizations and institutions that are adventurously creative and equitable. Together we strive to make our work distinguishable, and to create inspired change through collective action.

Our dedicated Kid’s Program is focused on developing self-awareness, courage, and self-esteem through the art of live theater production. We guide student performers to empower themselves and each other to create “story” by sharing critical parts of themselves: their emotional needs and concerns, and the struggles and questions within their particular community.

Our work culminates in performance that is joyful, educational, and enlightening for the actor, and the audience.
